The story of Community of Believers Church is a testament to the power of faith, perseverance, and community. Founded by Pastor Gregory and Lady Chundra Dotson in the cozy confines of their home in Cordova, TN, on January 6, 2008, our church began as a small gathering of believers hungry for spiritual growth and fellowship. Less than two months later, on February 10, 2008, we took our first steps as a formal congregation, holding our inaugural service at 7395 Stateline Road in Olive Branch, MS.

Our efforts to extend our reach led us to temporarily relocate on August 3, 2008 to the Holiday Inn Hotel Select in Memphis, TN, where we continued to worship with the same passion and zeal. From there, we moved to the Marriott Hotel on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, where we remained until March 2009.

One of the most memorable milestones in our journey occurred on February 22, 2009, when we joyously celebrated our First Pastor and Wife and Church anniversary at the Marriott Hotel. It was a day filled with gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us and marked the official installation of Rev. Dotson as our Pastor.

Later in March 2009, with hearts full of anticipation and hope, we were welcomed back to our original location at 7395 Stateline Road in Olive Branch, MS. Returning to familiar grounds, we embraced the opportunity to further establish our roots and deepen our connections within the community.

Since then, Community of Believers Church has continued to thrive and flourish, guided by our unwavering commitment to compel the community to Christ and serving others. With each passing year, we look back on our journey with gratitude and forward with anticipation, knowing that the best is yet to come for our Community of Believers.
