Pastor Gregory Dotson was born May 26, 1973, to proud parents of Mr. & Mrs. Joe and Yvonne Dotson. He is a Memphis native who graduated from Whitehaven High School in 1991. He received his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Memphis in 1996 and became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in 1992. Presently, he is attending Union University were he is studying to receive his Master's Degree in Christian Studies. He has been happily married to First Lady Chundra Dotson for 12 years and they have three children: Chatoria, Gregory, and Cayla.

Pastor Dotson announced his calling in June of 1999 at Cummings Street Missionary Baptist Church where Gary L. Faulkner is the Senior Pastor. In January of 2008, he exercised his faith and began the Community of Believers Baptist Church in his home.

Among other things, Pastor Dotson is passionate about teaching his members how to read the Bible for all of its worth. He strives to simplify his teaching, so that even children can understand. Last but certainly not least, he is a man of God that endeavors to live a life of integrity, faith, and dedication to God and to the people whom God has entrusted him to lead.
